Hypothetically speaking: If someone allegedly committed a crime that would violate their probation and the verdict is pending , would you not wait until that judgement before you decide if they violated their probation? A Los Angeles judge apparently will as Chris Brown was ordered back to rehab for an additional two months this past Friday (February 28th).
Brown attended a hearing yesterday concerning if he violated his parole for his alleged assault of a man in Washington, D.C. this past October. The judge ordered Brown back to rehab until the verdict of that case was rendered.
Chris Brown has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, severe insomnia and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder … and that’s why he has had such anger issues … this according to new court docs. Chris was in court today for a progress hearing in the Rihanna beating case. Documents were filed by the facility where Chris just completed 90 days of anger management therapy. In fact, Chris stayed longer, just completing 95 days. In the legal docs, an official from the rehab facility wrote that … in addition to his diagnosis … Chris was self-medicating inappropriately.
The judgement was given even with Brown receiving positive assessment from the staff at the rehabilitation facility. The director of the rehab program sent a letter to the court praising Brown for his improved behavior:
Mr. Brown is able to use behavioral strategies to manage acting out on impulses. Mr. Brown is teaming relaxation exercises that will reduce consequent impulsive behaviors.
Brown entered the rehab program voluntarily on October 28th, 2013. In less than a week, was kicked out for “throwing a rock through his mother’s car window” according to probation report.
Brown’s trial date for his Washington, D.C. assault case is set for April 17. Los Angeles County Judge James Brandlin will decide on if Brown’s alleged assault violated his probation and will lead to jail time on April 23.

Chris Brown was back in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday for a hearing in his assault case from October. During the proceeding, prosecutors offered the singer a plea deal in which they would bump his misdemeanor assault charge down if he plead guilty to simple assault.
According to TMZ, though, Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, refused the deal because Geragos believes his client did nothing wrong and is waiting to see surveillance footage obtained by police of the alleged incident.
Brown and bodyguard Christopher Hollosy were arrested early on the morning of October 27 outside the W Hotel in D.C. after allegedly getting into a fight with another man. They were both charged with felony assault, though the charges were later reduced to misdemeanors.
Following the arrest, Brown’s probation in his 2009 assault case on former girlfriend Rihanna was revoked, though he was not sent to jail because, according to the Los Angeles Times, the judge in the case was pleased with his progress in 90 days of court-ordered rehab for anger management. Brown spent 16 days in a facility to deal with anger issues before leaving to complete his treatment on an outpatient basis.
Brown is reportedly due back in court on February 20 to set a tentative trial date in the case.

Chris Brown was arrested in Washington D.C. this morning for FELONY assault after allegedly attacking a man outside a hotel…
Law enforcement sources says … Brown got into an argument with a man outside the W Hotel on K Street and allegedly punched him once IN THE FACE. We’re told the man Chris struck never threw a punch. Sources say Chris and the alleged victim did NOT know each other.
The incident occurred at about 4:30 AM.
Chris was with his bodyguard, and we’re told he was also arrested.
Our law enforcement sources say Brown did not appear to be under the influence of anything at the time of the incident.
Brown is currently in custody. As for the other person, we’re told he’s being evaluated at a D.C. hospital. Sources say he’s claiming injury.
Law enforcement sources says how the fight was triggered. Two woman approached Brown in front of the W Hotel and asked to take a picture with him. As the pic was about to be taken, 2 men rushed over to get in the photo. We’re told Chris then said, “I’m not into this gay s**t, I’m into boxing,” and threw a punch at the alleged victim. The fight was then taken to the ground.
Brown is still on probation in the Rihanna beating case and this could be grounds for violating his probation — which means he could be sentenced to prison for nearly 4 years … worst case scenario for him.
Before the incident, Chris had been hosting a party.

After showing off his new, more grown look (above) at the recent iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas last month, Chris Brown continues his full on promo for his upcoming album, X. The newest Nylon Mexico cover guy spoke to The Guardian in an in-depth, reflective interview that offers up a bit of insight into Chris’ turbulent career, his biggest regrets (if any) with growing up so fast, and, of course, Rihanna.
It seems we learn something new about Breezy pretty often. In his most recent interview with The Guardian, the cute “Fine China” singer revealed that he indeed grew up alarmingly fast, which possibly explains his current career turbulence. But he may not regret it as much as you would think.

On losing his virginity at 8 to a 15-year-old girl: “Yeah, really. Uh-huh.” He grins and chuckles. “It’s different in the country.” Brown grew up with a great gang of boy cousins, and they watched so much porn that he was raring to go. “By that point, we were already kind of like hot to trot, you know what I’m saying? Like, girls, we weren’t afraid to talk to them; I wasn’t afraid. So, at eight, being able to do it, it kind of preps you for the long run, so you can be a beast at it. You can be the best at it.” (Now 24, he doesn’t want to say how many women he’s slept with: “But you know how Prince had a lot of girls back in the day? Prince was, like, the guy. I’m just that, today. But most women won’t have any complaints if they’ve been with me. They can’t really complain. It’s all good.”)
On if he regrets growing up too fast and in the public eye: “Honestly, where I’m from, probably not. I think me being able to travel from the small town I was from, me already having a good IQ, and you know being intelligent, and regular stuff, I just had to learn more and more of the street life, you know, how to maneuver around a room full of wolves.”
On dealing with naysayers: “You know, whether it be naysayers, people that won’t say, ‘Hey, I like that.’ But as far as me being young, like, I don’t regret it, I love it, being able to accomplish my dreams at an early age. That’s just showing the kids that’s coming up in sixth or seventh grade, I can do this. If I really stick to it, I can do it. ‘Chris was my age when he did it.'”
On advice he’d give his 14-year-old self: “Pay attention to details, details, details. I’m 24 now, so I’m making sure I’m on top of it, but back then I was just, like, whatever we’re doing, I’m just glad to be here, you know?”
On the “Rihanna incident” being a big wake up call: “I had to stop acting like a little teenager, a crazy, wild young guy.” But when I ask if that’s how he thinks of himself when he looks back at that time, he snaps back, “No, not at all” as if the description had been mine and not his. “Cos you can talk with all my girls that I did mess with before, and it’s never been a violent history.” Then he switches again: “But at the same time, I learned from it, and it was almost like… I wouldn’t say it happened for a reason, but it was something to trigger my mind to be more of a mature adult. To handle myself in situations, don’t throw tantrums, don’t be a baby about it.”
On his conviction after the “Rihanna incident”: That was probably, like, one of the most troubling times in my life, because I was 18 or 19, so being able to feel the hatred from more adult people, you don’t understand it at the time, because you made a mistake.” But he knew one thing: “I’m going to come back, I know the music that I’m doing, how hard I work, is not just for nothing.” He found himself writing seven or eight songs a night, “just out of pure… I wouldn’t say heartbreak, but just pure ambition. To prove people wrong. So from there it wasn’t really a problem. I just focused on what was necessary, abiding by all the stuff I had to do legally and professionally.”
On lashing out at the D.A. & feeling unfairly picked on: “Community service, that shit is a bitch. I’ll be honest – and you can quote me on that – that is a motherfucker there. For me, I think it’s more of a power trip for the DA. I can speak freely now, because I don’t really care what they say about it, but as far as, like, the 1,000 extra hours they gave me, that’s totally fricking bananas.”
“They want me to be the example. Young black kids don’t have the fairer chances. You can see Lindsay Lohan in and out of court every day, you see Charlie Sheen, whoever else, do what they want to do. There hasn’t been any incident that I started since I got on probation, even with the Frank Ocean fight, the Drake situation, all those were defense modes. People think I just walk around as the aggressor, this mad black guy, this angry, young, troubled kid, but I’m not. I’m more and more laid-back. It’s just that people know if they push a button, it’ll make more news than their music. Attaching themselves to me, good or bad, will benefit them.”
On his money ambitions: “I don’t want to be rich, I want to be wealthy. There’s a difference, you know? I’m rich, but I’m not in the $200m mark.”
On his album selling ambitions: “…To sell ground-breaking numbers on an album. Just to be able to have that moment to say, I did it. So as like, I have a stamp. I would really like to mean something to the world, instead of me just being this fungus.” Hang on a minute: fungus? “Yeah, like the decay of society. I don’t want to be the decay of society, I’d like to be the uplifting part.”

Over the weekend, Chris Brown hosted a massive donation drive where he gave away 1,000 pairs of Reeboks to kids in Compton, Calif.
Chris Brown has really stepped up to the plate in terms of his charity work. This weekend, he donated more than 1,000 pairs of Reebok to disadvantaged children through his Symphonic Love Foundation. Held at Campanella Park in Compton, Calif, it was the second “WE US: Walk Everywhere in Unity’s Shoes” that he hosted this month.’
Chris (wearing a Trayvon Martin tribute tee) was joined by Los Angeles Deputy Mayor Guillermo Cespedes, local youth organizations and the LAPD, who made sure the event was peaceful and orderly.
He tweeted, “WE US! Thankful for all of the people who came together to help give back today! A big thank you to LA Deputy Mayor Cespedes, Skipp, Big U and the LAPD for making this campaign safe and successful!”
Chris spoke to HollywoodLife.com about the donation saying,
“I grew up as one of those kids who was brought up in gangs and had to be one of the bad kids so to speak. Being able to see the looks on these kids’ faces. It’s just about uplifting and bringing everybody together.”

A lawsuit filed against Chris Brown and his rap rival Drake after their notorious nightclub brawl last year has been thrown out of court.
The pair’s entourages came to blows in New York City’s W.i.P venue in June last year after an argument allegedly erupted over Rihanna, who has dated both of the stars.
Following the altercation, bosses at Entertainment Enterprises, Ltd., who own a large stake in Greenhouse, a club located in the same building, filed a $16 million lawsuit against the pair, alleging their reputation was ruined by the media fallout.
However a judge has disagreed with their claims and ruled the stars have no duty to behave in the club, especially as they were not even in the nightspot when the fight broke out. The judge also insisted altercations in nightclubs are common, and bosses can’t sue every time one occurs.
Last year, Drake filed legal papers urging the case’s presiding judge to toss out the suit, claiming the Greenhouse already had a bad reputation and its liquor licence was once suspended due to a “string of violent incidents”.

Chris Brown’s and Rihanna’s love has hit another sour note. Rather than let the rumor mill run rampant for too long, Breezy confirmed to Australia’s Kyle & Jackie O show Sunday (May 5) that he and Rihanna have split (again).
Speaking about his birthday, Brown announced that he’d be celebrating as a single man. “I really wanna see as many girls as possible,” he said. “I’m do [this birthday] solo. At the end of the day, shorty [Rihanna’s] doing her thing, she on the road.
“It’s always gon’ be love but I’ma do me. I’m a grown man so I just gotta’ walk forward.”
The 24-year-old didn’t go too deep into detail but from the sounds of it, the relationship’s end may have been spearheaded by Rihanna, which he eluded to on the song “I Can’t Win,” released last week. “People have different wants and needs,” he explained. “At the end of the day she [Rihanna’s] a young girl. I can’t really be focused on wife-ing somebody that young…and I’m young too, so I can’t focus on that right now. I just gotta step forward and be a man, and be the best Chris Brown I can be, instead of worrying about whoever else is going to be in my side pocket.”
Now that he’s single, the “Fine China” crooner hasn’t wasted much time getting back into the swing of things. He celebrated his birthday in Los Angeles and Las Vegas over the weekend, re-linking with ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, who partied with the Virginia native on Friday (May 3) night.
Apparently unable to keep all of his feelings inside, Twitter later became the forum for a series of now deleted post-split tweets. “N—a can’t even be happy on his birthday! I’m over trying to please y’a’ll I’m catching any FADES. On god! I’m wit all the bulls—,” he wrote. “I’m personally so f—ing tired of people it’s sick! Who made ya’ll god!!!! Society is f—ing overrated and a bunch of followers.”
Rihanna’s hasn’t yet responded to Brown’s interview, but since the 25-year-old’s health is on the mend, her focus is likely on finishing up the Diamonds World Tour, which rolled into New York City last night.

Chris Brown’s dad fears his bad boy son’s relationship with Rihanna will end in tragedy.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily News, Clinton Brown said he would prefer his son stay away from the Barbadian songstress, who he infamously assaulted in 2009.
“I personally really didn’t want him and Rihanna back together,” said Clinton. “You have to have a balance in a relationship.”
“You have to have someone who is spontaneous and whimsical but you also have to have someone who is grounded and logical.”
Yeah, grounded isn’t exactly how we’d describe Chris. And it’s not the first word that springs to mind when we look at these pictures of RiRi either….
And Clinton, 48, didn’t stop there. He said he worries the rollercoaster romance could end in one or both of them dying.
“I hate to use examples, but Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse — I mean I could go on and on!” he said.
Chris and Rihanna rekindled their romance late last year but the couple have faced a couple of big tests since then.
Like when Chris flirted with that blonde waitress in a club – yeah that wasn’t great – or when he admitted cheating on Rihanna.
In January he got into an altercation with the singer Frank Ocean, he’s got an ongoing feud with Drake and just two weeks ago he stood before a Virginia judge, accused of failing to complete community service required after assaulting Rihanna.
That’s quite the CV.
And Chris’ dad had more to say. Clinton also met his son’s model ex Karrueche Tran. “I liked her a lot. They seemed to get on terrifically,” he said. “Whenever she was around me, the quiet, meek, accommodating, respectful image is what she portrayed.”
Quite keen on Karreuche, then.
He quickly added that he also met Umbrella singer Rihanna “years ago” and that she “was very respectful and polite as well.”
When asked about whether he thinks he’ll become a gradfather any time soon Clinton unsurprisingly also had something to say.
“[Rihanna] would make a good mom. I think she would probably have to change some of her antics — the party attitude would probably have to change,” he said.
“I don’t think they would just whimsically and spontaneously have a child with them being in this mode. I don’t see it happening — but anything’s possible.”

Though their battle over Rihanna appears to be over, Drake and Chris Brown continue attacking one another in the press.
Drake appeared on East Village Radio’s “Keep It Thoro” show April 12 and told host Elliott Wilson that the media should stop preying on Chris Brown’s insecurities.
“His insecurities are the fact that I make better music than him, that I’m more popping than him, and that at one point in life the woman that he loves fell into my lap,” Drake said Friday. “I did what a real [brother] would do and treated her with respect, so she’s not up there talking down on me. All those things combined create an individual that comes up to your radio station and is going to do dumb [stuff].”
Drake and Brown both dated Rihanna, though Brown has been Rihanna’s long-time, on-again, off-again boyfriend.
Drake, Brown and their respective entourages got into an altercation at a New York club in June 2012 after Drake – who was dating Rihanna at the time – allegedly taunted Brown about his being with Rihanna.
Before telling Wilson Friday that no one wants to hear him rap against Brown since Brown isn’t a rapper, Drake said that beef between Brown and him is not his goal.
“It shouldn’t be about tearing that man down,” Drake said. “It shouldn’t be about wanting to see me and him tear each other down. We have an issue and it’s either going to drag out, or maybe in 10 years we’ll laugh about it over drinks. But just let us solve that.”
So far, Brown’s response to Drake’s interview has been a three-letter response on Twitter: “Lol.”

Well, that was quick. It was only 6 days ago when we began to speculate about the length of Chris Brown’s planned absence from Twitter (after his fallout with comedian Jenny Johnson) but never fear–he’s back. By Sunday morning (December 2) the singer had reactivated his account.
What he didn’t do though, was send out a tweet, so now his fans and critics wait patiently to see what comes next. Since he’s been unable to express himself via Twitter over the past few days, Brown has gone heavy with his Instagram usage instead. Rihanna has really take the charge in terms of tweeting suggestive photos of the two, but he joined the fun today, with shot of them enjoying Sunday morning.
In an interview conducted before his most recent Twitter beef, Brown seemed to have a good handle on things. “I haven’t been as mature and thought out in the past, so, me growing now, it’s showing my progression,” he told XXL. “I used to use my Twitter account to vent, but now I mostly use it for marketing and promotions. Even if the media asks me something, if it’s cool then it’s, ‘What’s up?’ But if it’s anything that’s too negative, I don’t care to respond.”
He said that he’s developed thicker skin over the past few years. “In the beginning, I used to be hot. I’m normal. I’m human, so if anybody says something that’s a lie, I’m numb to it. I’ve smartened up.”

Professional basketball star Tony Parker says he suffered a scratched retina on one of his eyes during a New York City nightclub brawl involving singer Chris Brown and members of hip-hop star Drake’s entourage.
The guard for the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association, wearing dark sunglasses, described the incident Friday in Paris during a news conference posted on YouTube. He said he expects to be sidelined for about a week while the French team prepares for the Summer Olympics.
Parker said he was wearing a “therapeutic” contact lens and had to go to an emergency room for treatment after arriving in Paris.
Parker said: “I was with my friend Chris Brown and me and my friends took some punches, so I’ll be missing the start of the French team because I can’t do anything for a week except keep the lens in and then take drops.”
Police said Brown, his girlfriend and his bodyguard were among several people injured during the bottle-hurling fight early Thursday at W.i.P in SoHo.
Parker said “they started throwing bottles everywhere. I don’t know what happened. At first it was OK, but then it started getting worse and when the plane landed it was really hurting so I went straight to the ER.”
The Spurs declined comment.

Chris Brown sustained a nasty gash on his chin — apparently a wound from a bottle attack — after his entourage allegedly clashed with Drake’s crew in a NYC nightclub brawl.
It’s been confirmed with the NYPD that the two singers’ crews got into a fight at WIP nightclub — 5 people were injured in the melee.
NYPD arrived on the scene after receiving a call between 4 and 5am. Chris and Drake were not present when cops arrived.
We’re told there were no critical injuries … just bumps, bruises and lacerations. No arrests were made.
After the fight, Brown tweeted a photo of his injury … along with the message, “How u party wit rich n**** that hate? Lol… Throwing bottles like girls? #shameonya!.”
The photo and the message have since been removed from Brown’s Twitter page.
There are reports the two started throwing blows (and bottles!) over Chris’ ex girlfriend, Rihanna, who Drake is rumored to have hooked up with.
A few hours before the brawl, there was footage of Drake leaving the London hotel … surrounded by some diesel-sized hired muscle. No word if they were involved in the bar fight, but wow … that would be scary.
We’re told both Brown and Drake had been hanging out in the VIP section … when Drake began pointing and yelling at Brown.
Brown began yelling back … and that’s when members of both entourages rushed in and began shoving each other.
With tensions running high, someone threw a bottle — which set the whole thing off … and the shoving turned to punches.
We’re told club security rushed in to break up the fight … and called police for backup. Brown and Drake left the scene by the time cops showed up … but several members of their entourages remained at the club. Multiple members of both crews required medical assistance.
We’re told the club suffered some serious damage in the fight — including busted up tables, broken mirrors, shattered lighting and glass scratches all over the floors.
10:15 AM PT — A witness who was inside the club says … Chris Brown did NOT send any bottles over to Drake’s table, despite several reports to the contrary.
10:55 AM PT — Drake’s rep just issued a statement about the incident, insisting Drizzy wasn’t involved in the brawl at all … the beef was between CB and another rapper named Meek Mill.
Drake is adamant … he is not responsible for the bloody gash on Chris Brown’s face … claiming he was simply leaving the nightclub when the brawl broke out … but sources tell us, the fight started after Chris Brown and a rapper at Drake’s table started trash talking each other.
The rapper hanging with Drake — Meek Mill — was screaming at Chris and Chris was giving it right back to Meek Mill. One of Chris’ lieutenants was also involved in the screaming match.
Our sources would NOT say what specifically they were arguing about — partly out of fear that someone will get hurt. But we are told the argument was NOT over Rihanna.
One source says Chris was hurt when Meek Mill hit him with a bottle.
A rep for Drake says … “Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.I.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began.”
The rep adds, “[Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.”
Chris Brown’s bodyguard Big Pat was also hospitalized last night with a GIANT GASH on his forehead, following the massive bottle-hurling brawl at W.i.P nightclub in NYC.
The photo surfaced on Twitter earlier today — showing Big Pat in a hospital gurney, blood gushing all over the place. It’s unclear exactly how BP got hurt or who’s responsible for the damage.
Thankfully, looks like the guy’s okay — he showed up moments ago outside Chris’ NYC hotel, badly scabbed up … but walking nonetheless.
Drake flashed his middle finger, engaged in serious trash talk, and drafted several other rappers to join his posse … minutes before the all out brawl with Chris Brown, according to multiple witnesses in the club.
We’re told the tension started building when Drake gave the middle finger to one of Chris’ bodyguards and shouted … “I’m about to go whoop that ass!” Chris’ entourage then returned fire with a few hand gestures of their own.
Witnesses — who were very close to the action — tell us that Drake felt disrespected … even though he started the exchange … and went to get backup from his boys Meek Mills, Juelz Santana, and Trav B.
At this point, we’re told Drake got loud and shouted at Chris … “You be on that ho s**t on Twitter n***a” — a clear reference to a recent Twitter war between Chris, Drake, and Meek … all over who’s banging Rihanna.
Moments later we’re told Chris’ security guards got irate, pushing and shoving began between Meek, Juelz and Chris’ posse — and you know the rest.
Interestingly, everyone agrees Drake never got physically involved in the brawl — even though his mouth … and hand … sparked it all.
